''I promise to run an open-door administration '' - Bia West DCE

Bia West District Chief Executive, Bernard Gyebi Blay, has promised to run an open-door administration to help develop the district and asked for the support of all.

Bernard Blay, well-known as Commander General, was confirmed by the assembly members at a short ceremony held in Sefwi Debiso.

 36 out of the 40 assembly members voted yes for Bernard Blay. Three of them voted no, and one rejected ballot representing 90 percent of the total valid votes cast.

Bernard Blay, in his speech, acknowledged the President for the confidence vested in him and applauded the assembly members for the confirmation.

He promised to run an open-door administration and requested backing from him, particularly traditional rulers.

On his part, the Western North Regional Minister, Mr Richard Ebbah Obeng, called on the assembly members to give the new District Chief Executive the desirable guidance to thrive.

The immediate past DCE for Bia West, Mr John Koah, and Samuel Adu Adjei, the Western North NPP Regional Organizer, were present to support the President’s nominee.

 The Municipal Chief Executives for Sefwi Wiawso, Mr Lious Owusu-Agyapong and Mr Samuel Adu Gyamfi, Aowin MCE, graced the occasion. Others include Mr Yawson Amoah, District Chief Executive for Akontombra and DCE for Bia East, Nicholas Kupog Yayin.
