The group is further urging the President to replace him with someone who is a grassroot member who they can identify with us.
This was disclosed in a petition addressed to the President and sighted by Ghanadistricts.com.
According to aggrieved members of the party, Mr. Edudzi Effah’s nomination as DCE comes as a disappointment to them and one that would rather help satisfy the parochial interests of some unseen forces from Anloga, who owe allegiance to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
They further disclosed that the nominee does not have any political terrain, socio-economic conditions of our constituency and therefore cannot vouch for his conduct and will never work with him.
Describing the President’s decision as “Monkey Dey Work, Baboon Dey Chop” situation, the aggrieved members further threatened to do everything within their power to ensure that the nominee fails to get their endorsement to become DCE if his nomination is not reversed.
“We wish to state that if his nomination is not reversed, and immediately too, we the grassroots of the party in the Keta constituency will resort to anomic forms of redress to ensure that, Mr Godwin Edudzi Effah NEVER occupies the office of the M.C.E in the Keta municipality.”
