Okuapehene Pays Royal Visit to Akuapem Adonten

The Okuapehene, Oseadeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, has paid a royal duty visit to Akuapem Adonten as part of efforts to strengthen unity, deepen cultural ties, and promote the preservation of Akuapem’s rich heritage.

The Okuapehene was warmly received at the Aduana Cultural Palace, Konkonuru, by the Aburihene and Adontenhene, Otoobour Djan Kwasi II, alongside traditional leaders and community members.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akuapem South, Hon. Paul Osae Offei, joined chiefs and residents to welcome the Okuapehene during his arrival.


The visit forms part of the Okuapehene’s tour of his traditional area, aimed at engaging with his people, fostering unity among communities, and reinforcing the shared responsibility of preserving Akuapem’s cultural identity and traditions.

Traditional leaders and residents expressed their appreciation for the visit, describing it as an important occasion that strengthens the bond between the traditional authority and the people of Akuapem Adonte
