The inspection was conducted together with the project consultant and contractor as part of the Assembly's commitment to monitoring the quality and timely execution of development projects within the municipality.

During the visit, the Assembly also engaged traders, transport operators, and other stakeholders on the need to remove structures and other obstructions impeding the implementation of the project. The exercise will involve the demolition of affected structures and the relocation of occupants through the appropriate legal and administrative processes to pave the way for the smooth execution and completion of the project.

The Assembly appealed to all affected persons to cooperate with the exercise, assuring them that the project is aimed at improving transportation services, enhancing public safety, promoting orderly commercial activities, and stimulating socio-economic development in the Asokwa Municipality.

When completed, the modern lorry park is expected to provide a safer, more organised, and efficient transport hub for commuters, drivers, traders, and other users.
