Mr. Agbolosu emphasized that peace is paramount to Ghana's well-being, superseding any Politician’s personal ambitions in an engagement with PWDs.

He urged PWDs to resist being used as tools for political power, instead advocating for their empowerment and inclusive participation in the electoral process.

“In Ghana, we have nowhere else to go if conflict erupts, let's live in peace,” Mr. Agbolosu urged, especially PWDs.

He encouraged them to promote understanding and respect for suffering opinions, engage in constructive dialogue and support peaceful initiatives during, before and after the December polls.

His reminder comes as Ghana prepares for the 2024 elections, highlighting the importance of maintaining harmony and stability.

Mr. Emmanuel Donkor, President of the Ghana Federation of Disability (GFD) in the Oti Region, has expressed gratitude to the social welfare director for the valuable advice given.

He assured that PWDs will conduct themselves in a manner that will ensure Ghana enjoys peaceful democratic elections.

Mr. Donkor lauded the Oti regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) for organizing numerous engagements aimed to address PWDs issues, promote inclusive governance and empower PWDs to participate fully in the electoral process.
