Tolon DCE Commissions Early Childhood Centre, Boosts Development in Gbulahigu

The District Chief Executive for the Tolon District, Braimah Seidu, has commissioned a new Early Childhood Development Centre for the people of Gbulahigu.

The facility, inaugurated on March 24, 2026, is expected to strengthen early childhood education in the community and support government efforts to expand access to quality kindergarten education nationwide.

The project received funding support from the Baptist Relief and Development Agency, a key development partner of the Assembly, highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving local development.

In addition to the school facility, the Assembly has also provided a mechanized borehole to improve access to potable water for residents of Gbulahigu.

Further development efforts are underway, including the completion of an abandoned three-unit classroom block and ongoing work on the Nyankpala–Gbulahigu–Datooyili road to enhance connectivity in the area.

Residents have welcomed the interventions, describing them as timely and impactful in improving both education and living conditions in the community.

The initiatives reflect the Assembly’s continued commitment to delivering development projects that directly benefit communities across the Tolon District.
