MCE Inspects Ongoing Moro Market Road Rehabilitation Project

The Municipal Chief Executive of Old Tafo Municipal, Hon. Sadiq Abubakar has paid a visit to the ongoing rehabilitation of the Moro Market Road, a key infrastructure project that promises to boost economic activity in the area.

The road, which spans from Ulthmaniya SHS to Oniwaa School, is currently undergoing a major overhaul. According to eyewitnesses, the MCE was impressed with the progress of work on the project, which is expected to ease the movement of goods and people within the municipality.

 

The rehabilitation of the road is part of the government's efforts to improve the town's infrastructure and provide a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.


When contacted for comment, the MCE expressed satisfaction with the quality of work being done, saying that the project is on track to be completed within the stipulated time frame.

 The Hon. Abubakar also urged the contractors to expedite work on the project, ensuring that it is completed soon.


The Moro Market Road rehabilitation project is one of several infrastructure initiatives being undertaken by the municipality to improve the lives of residents and promote economic growth. Upon completion, the project is expected to reduce travel time, improve road safety, and increase access to markets and other essential services.

 

Residents of the area have expressed gratitude to the government for the project, saying it will greatly improve their economic fortunes. They are eagerly awaiting the completion of the project.
