Assin South Commissions Three-Unit Classroom Block at Adiembra
The Assin South District Assembly has commissioned a newly constructed three-unit classroom block for the Roman Catholic Church at Assin Adiembra as part of its “Accounting to the People” programme.

The commissioning was attended by the Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah, officials of the Central Regional Coordinating Council, members of the NDC Assin South Constituency and other stakeholders.
The project is expected to provide pupils in the community with a more conducive and improved learning environment while contributing to the development of quality education in Assin Adiembra.
Speaking during the exercise, the Assin South District Chief Executive said the investment in educational infrastructure demonstrates the Assembly’s commitment to addressing the developmental needs of communities and creating opportunities for children to receive quality education.
He noted that providing appropriate classroom facilities was essential to improving teaching and learning outcomes and ensuring that children have an environment that supports their academic development.
The commissioning formed part of a broader programme through which the Assembly is engaging residents on its development activities and accounting for projects and programmes undertaken in the district.
The DCE expressed appreciation to the Regional Minister, the Regional Coordinating Council, traditional leaders, development partners and residents for their continued collaboration in advancing development in Assin South.
He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to implementing projects that respond to the needs and expectations of residents.
