The sod-cutting ceremony, held on March 23, 2026, marks the beginning of a two-unit classroom facility designed to improve early childhood education in the community. The project will include offices, storage rooms, and toilet facilities to support both teaching and learning.

Speaking at the event, the DCE emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and ensuring a better learning environment for young children in the district.

When completed, the facility is expected to significantly benefit pupils and teachers in Korlekope by providing a more conducive and well-equipped space for early education.

Residents have welcomed the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will support the development of the community’s future generation.

Hon. Kanor further hinted at more development projects in the pipeline, noting that another sod-cutting ceremony is expected soon as the Assembly continues to roll out initiatives aimed at improving living conditions across the Ada East District.
