Vision

The vision of the Ga North Municipal Assembly is to become an attractive investment destination where socio – economic activities are provided on sustainable basis for the Municipality and the nation.

Mission

The Municipality is dedicated to effectively plan and mobilize resources to implement projects that generate income and promote rapid socio – economic development in an environmentally friendly manner.

Core Values

To attain the goals and objectives of the Ga North Municipal Assembly, the six core values seen as the standards of the Local Government Service have been adopted to serve as guiding principles in the performance of its functions.

Methodology In preparing this Plan the following methods were employed in gathering the required data and information;

1. Identification of major problems existing within the Municipality in all areas. 
2. The analysis of the problems to identify the core issues within the respective themes of the Agenda for Jobs.
3. Projection and Needs Assessment within these thematic areas were undertaken based on some assumptions to know the future
    situation with  regards to meeting the needs of the future.
4. The project planning matrix was then prepared to give details of the components of the plan at a glance.
5. The expected outputs of the Medium-Term Plan were identified from the previous assignment which provided the development focus for the plan.
6. Activities to be carried out which would help achieve the expected outputs were also formulated with their locations spelt out.
7. The cost of each activity was computed based on the careful identification of the various components that goes into each activity
     and possible funding agencies identified.
8. The various agencies that would help in the implementation schedule of the plans were identified.
9. The various contributions or roles that would be played by the communities in the Municipality were clearly spelt out and agencies
     that would be involved in the monitoring and evaluation processes also identified.
10.The activities under the Medium-Term Plans were arranged into annual plans to give meaning to the scheduling process of the plan
      preparations in order of urgency. 11. Public hearing was conducted and issues raised by beneficiaries considered in the finalization
      of the document.
