Kpala Gets New CHPS Compound and Nurses' Bungalow as Sod-Cutting Ceremony Marks Project Launch

The Kpala community is one step closer to improved healthcare services with the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a CHPS Compound and Nurses' Bungalow.

The ceremony was led by the District Chief Executive for Kwahu Afram Plains North, Hon. Kate Mawusi Babanawo.

 The project, when completed, will provide essential primary healthcare services to the people of Kpala and surrounding communities. Additionally, the Nurses' Bungalow will offer accommodation to healthcare personnel, ensuring their retention in the area.

Hon. Babanawo emphasized that the project aligns with the government's agenda to strengthen grassroots healthcare. She urged the contractor and community members to collaborate to ensure the project's timely and quality completion.

The ceremony was attended by officials from the District Assembly, traditional leaders, opinion leaders, and residents of Kpala.

 This initiative demonstrates the District Assembly's commitment to bridging the healthcare gap in deprived and riverine communities. With this project, the people of Kpala can look forward to improved access to quality healthcare services, bringing hope and a better quality of life to the community.
