Wa: Teachers Barred from Going into BECE Exam Center

Mr. Moomin Ameen, The Deputy Director in charge of Wa Municipal Education Office, Welfare Officer, Exam Center(Wa School for the Blind) Supervisor(BECE, 2024) has explained why he prevented teachers from getting access to the Wa School for the Blind Exam Center.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team, He indicated that teachers will be tempted to assist students in cheating during the examination should they be allowed into the exam center.

He made the statements on Tuesday 9th July 2024 at about 12pm in the afternoon When the students were about to write an Exam on Computing.

“..They are not getting the chance to teach students in exam centers, if teachers get the chance they will teach the students in the exam hall that is why we have prevented teachers from accessing exam Centers, Head teachers are allowed temporarily..”

About Seven schools are examined at the Wa School for the Blind WAEC Approved Center in the Wa Municipality. These schools are Wa SDA JHS, Wa Central International School, Junoo International School, Sky Limit International School, Lorgie Academy, Kambali JHS and Wa School for the Blind itself.
