The project forms part of the government's commitment to construct at least 10 kilometres of town roads in every district across the country to enhance mobility, boost economic activities, and provide safer and more efficient transportation networks for residents.

The commencement of the project is expected to improve access within communities, facilitate the movement of goods and services, and contribute to local economic growth and development within the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipality.

Officials have described the initiative as a transformative intervention that will not only improve road infrastructure but also enhance the quality of life of residents through improved accessibility and increased economic opportunities.

Appreciation has been extended to President John Dramani Mahama, the Minister for Roads and Highways, and the Member of Parliament for Ejura for their leadership, commitment, and support in ensuring the successful rollout of the project.

Authorities have assured residents that updates will continue to be provided as work progresses and as similar projects commence in other districts across the region.

The "Big Push" infrastructure programme remains a key component of the government's development agenda, aimed at delivering critical infrastructure that connects communities, stimulates economic growth, and transforms livelihoods across the country.
