24 hour market is going to be the first market in New Juaben North Municipality-MCE

Samuel Adongo, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben North assembly has disclosed that the municipality does not have a market and a taxi rank and the 24 hour market is going to be the first ever ultra-modern market.

The MCE also disclosed that the assembly has located a place to build the 24 hour model market within the Municipal capital at Effiduase, adding that the land size is about 50 acres with documentation process almost through and the land will be ready for use.

According to him, the 24-hour market model is designed to ease overcrowding and trading pressure during daytime hours by extending operations into the night, adding that the model markets will not only serve as trading spaces but also as vibrant economic hubs that operate 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

This he noted will allow traders to expand operations, access new customer segments, and improve their incomes.
