As part of its oversight responsibilities, the Committee toured selected locations in Adum Banso, Ahantaman, Agona Nkwanta, and Sekondi to evaluate their suitability and gauge the level of preparedness for the program’s implementation.
During the visit, representatives from the Mpohor District Assembly revealed that traditional authorities have expressed their readiness to release additional parcels of land. This move is intended to accommodate the future expansion of the markets, ensuring they can meet long-term demands.
The inspection forms part of the Committee’s broader efforts to guarantee effective planning, ensure accountability, and facilitate the successful rollout of the 24-hour market policy across the country.
