President releases first batch of MMDCEs List

President John Dramani Mahama in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 constitution and 20 (1) of the Local Government Act, 2016 (Act 936) has nominated the first batch of persons to serve in various capacities as Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executives.

Their appointment is however, subject to the approval of their respective Assemblies.

This was disclosed in a release signed and issued by Callistus Mahama, secretary to the President.
