Black Sherif nominated for 2022 BET Hip Hop awards

Ghana’s fastest uprising Artist Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong popularly known in the music space as Black Sherif has been has been nominated for the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The Kwaku The Traveller hitmaker grabbed a nomination in the Best International Flow Category.

Apparently, Black Sherif has had a successful year with his music, gaining a sizable fan base and the attention of top hip-hop figures like DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Burna Boy and many more.

Recall that in June 2022, Black Sherif became the first Ghanaian artist to reach 100 Million Streams on Boomplay.

His hit single Kwaku The Traveller also garnered over 75 Million streams in its first week of release prompting a viral TikTok challenge.

Black Sherif becomes the second Ghanaian artist to be nominated for the BET Hip Hop Awards.
