Work commences on Biakoye Township roads

Construction work has started on the Nkonya Akloba to Ahundwo road section, spanning approximately 1.8 kilometers in the Biakoye District Assembly.

During an interview with Millicent Carboo, the District Chief Executive (DCE), it was revealed that the assembly has taken the initiative to improve certain roads within the district's capital.

Upon inspection, ghanadistricts.com observed that the 1.8km road from Nkonya Akloba to Ahundwo is being worked on, with the presence of heavy-duty equipment such as a bulldozer and a grader which have already graded a portion of the road.

Additionally, the Tayi stretch from the Nkonya Secondary School junction to the Tayi Township, covering about 1.4km, has been completed.

The contractor responsible for the project is King Solomon and George Company Ltd, with funding provided by the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
