The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Hon. Philibert Selorm Fummey, joined the Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Hon. Julius Neequaye Kotey, the CEO of Unicostrategic Ghana Ltd, and traditional leaders from Dobro and Nsawam to officially inaugurate the facility.

The establishment of the centre marks a significant step toward the decentralization of DVLA services and improved public service delivery within the municipality and its surrounding communities.

Speaking to the media, Hon. Fummey expressed his satisfaction with the development, noting that the presence of the DVLA office in Nsawam brings relief to residents who previously had to travel long distances to Accra or Koforidua to access such services.

“This facility brings an end to the inconvenience faced by our people over the years. Now, essential services are right at their doorstep,” he stated.

The newly commissioned DVLA Ultra Centre is fully equipped to provide a range of services, including driver’s license registration and renewal, vehicle registration, and roadworthiness certification.

Hon. Fummey further commended the leadership and management of the DVLA as well as Unicostrategic Ghana Ltd for their commitment to improving service delivery in the municipality. He described the initiative as a timely intervention that will enhance efficiency and convenience for residents.

The commissioning of the facility is expected to significantly reduce congestion at existing DVLA offices while promoting accessibility and efficiency in service delivery across the region.
