Main Source of Water for Drinking and for other Domestic Use

The main source of water for drinking and other domestic purposes in the Nabdam District. The source of water for domestic use is similar to drinking water with the exception of sachet water. The use of bore-holes, protected wells and pipe-borne outside dwelling units are the main sources of water for drinking and domestic use accounting for 72.6 percent, 10.9 percent and 4.2 percent respectively. The least source of water used in the district is sachet water constituting only 1.0 percent.
