NGOs, CSOs, CBOs

There exist in the district a number of Civil Society Organisations (CSO) including NGOs and CBOs. These NGOs have been contributing immensely to the development of the local communities within their project and programme areas. These NGOs include Plan Ghana who emphasises on the promotion of education through the provision of educational infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning, health, HIV/AIDS, hygiene and nutrition. 

The MIDA also over the last three years has been building the capacity of Farmer Based Organisations (FBOs). Additionally, the Authority has improved teaching and learning through the construction and rehabilitation and renovation of school infrastructure.
