Kwahu South MCE gets 100% yes Votes
The President’s nominee for Kwahu South Municipality, Emmanuel Atta Ofori Snr. has been confirmed by the Assembly Members as the Municipal Chief Executive Officer for the second time.

Out of 37 Assembly Members present and voting, all of them voted Yes to confirm him, representing 100% of the total vote cast.
The election was smoothly conducted by the Electoral Commission led by the Municipal Electoral Officer, Mr. Hamid.
Hon. Emmanuel Atta Ofori was subsequently sworn in by the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong.
Hon. Emmanuel Atta Ofori expressed his gratitude to the Hon. Members for their overwhelming votes and called for their collaborative support, suggestions and constructive criticisms to advance the development of the municipality.
The Member of Parliament for Mpraeso Constituency, Hon. Davis Ansah Opoku, expressed his appreciation to the members for having confidence in the President's nominee and endorsing him for the second term.
The Regional Minister on his part was grateful to the Assembly Members for the massive endorsement and entreated them to support the MCE in the discharge of his duties.
