Gov't appointees charged to work towards Akufo Addo's second term bid
A Financier of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) branch in the Asunafo North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Farouk Nkrumah has charged all appointees in the ruling NPP government to emulate President Nana Akufo-Addo’s hard work and also be vigilant on their duty to attract more supporters as we approach election 2020.

Mr. Farouk Nkrumah made this call after presenting some streetlight to communities including Manhyia, Asumura, Nyimaye and Kasapin Clinic as well donated some medical equipment to Akrodie and Mim Health Centres in the Asunafo North Municipality as part of activities to mark his 40th birthday.
Despite losing the 2016 NPP Parliamentary Primaries in Asunafo North, Mr Farouk acknowledged the hard work and good policies of President Akufo-Addo including planting for food and jobs, free Senior School, planting for export and rural development, one district one factory among others which he said, will boost the economy by creating more job opportunities to the youth.
"Even though most appointees are doing their best, trust me, there are challenges which I expect them to be sincere to themselves by finding lasting solution to them in their various offices. The President can't be everywhere and that is why the MMDCEs, CEOs, the Ministers, and the Director Generals has been appointed and they must work in the interest of the country" he emphasized.
Mr. Farouk Nkrumah then appealed to the Ministers, CEOs and MMDCEs to sensitize the electorates in various constituencies to understand what their taxes are been used for so they will contribute wholeheartedly towards the development of the country.
