Dormaa Akwamu police station commissioned

Bono Regional Minister Madman Justina Owusu Banahene together with the Regional Police Commander DCOP Oklu Gyamera has commissioned a new police station at Dormaa Akwamu.

The project was initiated by Barima Oppong Kyereme Sikafo and his people home and abroad led by Nana Obiri.

Speaking at the ceremony, the District Chief Executive Emmanuel Kofi Agyemang says he Assembly took over when the project was at the lentil level and it became difficult for Barima and his people to get it completed.

‘’We appreciate the effort of all the stakeholders, especially Barima and his people, the Police Administration and my DISEC members of 2018/2019 who advised us to lay the foundation of the prosperous Dormaa East District that we were seeking to build with strong security.

The names that quickly come to mind are Nana Kwame Gyekye(NIB), Ex WO1 Yeboah(NS) Commander Amfo(Police) and others”.

The Assembly is not done yet but Police Station, at Kyeremasu, Wamanafo, Dormaa Akwamu , Tankase Nsesresu and Kyenkyenase are currently in operation are as a result of your hard work and professional advice.
