A statement issued and signed by Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah, Public Relations Officer of the Bono Regional Police administration, called for public assistance towards the arrest and subsequent prosecution of the suspects.

The police intercepted a viral video on November 18, 2025 about the alleged robbery incident and launched their investigations, a copy of the statement made available to the media in Sunyani has stated.

It urged the victims or anyone with information about the incident and the suspected robbers to support the police investigations and advised everybody to remain calm as the police investigated the robbery.
