Amansie Central Commissions Jacobu Health Centre to Improve Access to Quality Healthcare

the Amansie Central District Assembly has commissioned the newly constructed Jacobu Health Centre for public use as part of government's commitment to improving access to quality healthcare services across the country.

The modern health facility, which includes an Ambulance Service Centre, is expected to serve residents of Jacobu and neighbouring communities by providing timely and accessible healthcare services.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie Central, Hon. Michael Donkor, reaffirmed government's determination to ensure that every citizen has access to quality healthcare regardless of their location.

He announced that qualified health personnel have already been posted to the facility and are ready to provide quality healthcare services to residents.

Hon. Donkor encouraged community members to make full use of the health centre by attending regular health clinics, seeking medical attention promptly when ill and adopting preventive healthcare practices to improve their overall well-being.

He expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs and the Ashanti Regional Minister for their continuous support in making the project a reality.

The DCE also commended the Assembly's Works and Physical Planning Departments, the contractor and all stakeholders whose dedication contributed to the successful completion of the project.

He further thanked the traditional authorities and people of Jacobu for their cooperation throughout the implementation of the project and appealed to them to safeguard the facility to ensure it serves generations to come.

The commissioning of the Jacobu Health Centre forms part of the Assembly's broader efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, improve emergency medical services and enhance the quality of life of residents across the Amansie Central District.
