Improving Healthcare Delivery: MCE Breaks Ground for Critical Hospital Infrastructure

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Mr. Philibert Selormy Fummey, has officially broken ground for the construction of an ultra-modern Laundry and Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) complex at the Nsawam Government Hospital

The project marks a significant milestone in strengthening healthcare delivery and infrastructure within the municipality. It is expected to enhance infection prevention and control while improving patient safety through the efficient sterilization and processing of medical equipment.

The Laundry and Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) is a vital component of quality healthcare delivery, responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and managing medical instruments to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

This initiative underscores the Assembly's commitment to strengthening the local healthcare system and expanding critical infrastructure to meet the growing healthcare needs of the municipality.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr Fummey reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to investing in healthcare infrastructure that promotes quality service delivery and improves health outcomes for residents.

He also expressed his sincere appreciation to the District Assemblies' Common Fund for its continuous support in advancing development projects across the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.
