The facility, commissioned on Thursday, October 8, 2026, has been handed over to the Kwabre East Municipal Education Directorate to support the delivery of early childhood education.

For years, schoolchildren in Yasore had to walk long distances to attend school at Asenua, crossing a busy road in the process. The situation exposed the children to road safety risks and reportedly affected their school attendance.

The construction of the new KG block is expected to address these challenges by bringing education closer to children in the community and providing a safer and more convenient learning environment.

In addition to the school facility, the MCE also commissioned a mechanised borehole to provide potable water for residents of Yasore.

The water project is expected to improve access to safe drinking water and enhance sanitation and hygiene in the community, contributing to better living conditions for residents.

Hon. Amankwah noted that projects form part of efforts by the Kwabre East Municipal Assembly to improve educational infrastructure and provide essential social amenities to communities within the municipality.
