NPP Youth of Yeji oppose Presidents nominee for Pru East DCE
The youth wing of the ruling government at Yeji in the Pru East District have registered their displeasure over the nomination of Abonkra Kwaku Joshua by President Nana Akufo-Addo as district chief executive for Pru East.

According to the youth they had indicated in their previous letter to the President that the nominee lacks credibility, due to the fact that he defrauded the Parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party in 2012, Mr. Abraham Nyidavu to the tune of two thousand four hundred Ghana cedis (GHC2,400).
In a press statement sign by Gyarcham Dickson a convener, he further added that the nominee was voted out as secretary of the ruling party in the constituency when he connive with the Pru East sitting MP, Dr. Kwabena Donkor to work against the NPP Parliamentary candidate in 2012.
The statement also added that he run away from Yeiji to Techiman due to numerous problems including finance he had with teachers in the Pru District, amounting to thirty thousand Ghana cedis, under the pretence that he works on tax reliefs at the Controller and Accountant General.
Mr. Abonkra Kwaku Joshua is accused of having sold an outboard motor belonging to the party amounting to eight thousand, eight hundred Ghana cedis (GHc 8,800).
“The misconduct of Abonkra had made the Party in Pru East unattractive the result of the constituency election and polling station album is being contested at the Sunyani High court”.
Youth of Yeji in their release placed on record that they are prepared to work with anybody as their DCE apart from the nominee and pleaded with the President Nana Akufo-Addo to listen to their humble appeal.
