Akim Oda protects against Covid - 19

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Community Hospitals Group, and a parliamentary candidate aspirant on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party in the Akim Oda Constituency, Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah and the Assemblyman for Towobotom Electoral Area, Mr. Clement Attafuah has initiated action to protect the people of Akim Oda against the infection of the coronavirus.

They made provisions of Veronica buckets, sanitizers, and soaps for the Akyem Oda Central Market.

According to Mr. Acquah, the initiative is to assure the market women of some level of protection when they adhere to safety measures including regular handwashing with soap under running water, and the use of sanitizers.

This, he believes would give hope to the traders to come to work to look for their daily bread.

He, therefore, advised them to make handwashing with soap for at least 20 minutes a habit during these periods, use alcohol-based hand rub or sanitizers, cover their nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when they cough or sneeze, avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell, stay home, as well as self-isolate from others in the household if they feel unwell.
