According to the MP, the materials, including essential poles, arrived in the constituency on Wednesday morning. This delivery marks the tangible start of a project aimed at ending years of poor mobile and internet connectivity that has hampered communication, business, and education in several communities.
“The materials are here. The work to finally solve this persistent problem can now begin in earnest,” Mr. Tsekpo stated.
The first phase of the network improvement project will target four key sites: the Gbledi area, the Fodome Amle enclave, Alavanyo Abehenase, and Dzogbedze. These communities have been specifically identified as among the hardest hit by unreliable network coverage.
The MP extended gratitude to his parliamentary colleague, Hon. Sam Dzata George, the MP for Ningo-Prampram, for his instrumental support in facilitating the project. “Thanks to Hon. Sam Dzata George for the support to pave way for this very important project,” Mr. Tsekpo acknowledged, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the initiative.
In a statement to his constituents, the Hohoe legislator reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for their developmental needs. “As your MP, I will continue to lobby in your interest to move Hohoe to the next level,” he pledged, ending with an optimistic declaration: “Hohoe will surely move to the next level.”
The arrival of the materials has been met with anticipation from residents and business owners in the beneficiary communities, who have long cited poor network service as a major obstacle to daily life and economic activity. The successful completion of this phase is expected to significantly boost digital inclusion and communication reliability in the designated areas.
