The presentation, made on Monday, is expected to enhance the capacity of the health facility to provide efficient, safe, and quality delivery services to clients within Atobiase and surrounding communities.
Speaking during the donation, the DCE emphasized the importance of equipping health facilities with the necessary logistics to support healthcare professionals in delivering quality services, particularly in maternal and child healthcare.
He urged the management, midwives, and staff of the facility to take proper care of the equipment to ensure its longevity and maximize its impact on healthcare delivery.
“These delivery beds have been provided to support your work and improve maternal healthcare outcomes. I encourage management and staff to maintain them well so they can serve their intended purpose for many years,” he stated.
The gesture forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that residents have access to quality health services.
Health officials at the facility expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the additional delivery beds would significantly improve service delivery and provide greater comfort and safety for mothers during childbirth.
The donation underscores ongoing efforts by the Amansie Central District Assembly to strengthen healthcare delivery and promote the well-being of residents across the district.
