Mfantseman Assembly leads sanitation drive across Electoral Areas

A significant clean-up exercise has been launched in the Anaafo, New Nkusukum Electoral Areas of Mankessim, Etsifi Prabiw and Kurankyekrom–Eguabado Electoral Areas within the Mfantseman municipality.

This operation marked the implementation of a resolution passed by the General House of Assembly to promote cleanliness and environmental health throughout all electoral areas under its jurisdiction. The collaboration and dedication displayed by all involved were instrumental in the success of the exercise, laying a strong foundation for sustained community hygiene efforts.

This initiative brought together an impressive coalition of stakeholders, including the Municipal Chief Executive, Eric Stanley Acquah, traditional authorities, security agencies, staff of the Assembly, and the Assembly members representing the four electoral areas.

The MCE said the huge turnout and diligent efforts of everyone involved underscored the commitment to achieving a cleaner and healthier environment across the municipality.

The active participation of residents alongside institutional support vividly demonstrated the communal spirit required to together, these consecutive clean-up exercises reflect the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly’s proactive approach towards sanitation management by fostering inclusive community engagement and inter-institutional collaboration.
