Access to safe WASH services is vital for human health, well-being, livelihoods, school attendance, and dignity, ultimately contributing to the creation of healthy and strong communities.

During his Keynote address, Dr. Letsa emphasized the importance of adopting a good maintenance culture to ensure the longevity of the newly established facilities.

He expressed gratitude towards the National Director of World Vision, Madam Laura Cristina Del Valle, and her team for their timely intervention in providing clean drinking water and modern toilet facilities to the community, aiming to alleviate the challenges faced by the people in accessing basic necessities and to eradicate open defecation and waterborne diseases.

Dr. Letsa urged the Chiefs and the District Assembly to educate the community on the significance of constructing household latrines to complement the efforts of World Vision in improving sanitation.

As a token of appreciation, the Chiefs and the District Assembly presented beautifully woven Kente cloth to the National Director of World Vision Ghana as a gesture of gratitude for their support and intervention.
