The donation followed a request by nurses during Mr. Kpotosu’s visit to the health facility.

The presentation ceremony took place on Saturday, December 14, at Sokode Ando in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Kpotosu emphasised his commitment to improving healthcare services in the constituency.

“This is just a tip of the iceberg. I assure you that, as time goes on, there will be more of such interventions. We will work together to ensure quality healthcare service delivery in this community,” he said.

Madam Eunice Dzifanu, the midwife in charge of the CHPS compound, received the equipment on behalf of the facility and expressed her gratitude to Mr. Kpotosu for the gesture and encouraged further support.

“We are most grateful. Thank you very much, and God bless you. We are confident that, as you’ve started with this, more support will follow,” she said.

Madam Dzifanu also outlined some pressing needs of the facility, including delivery instrument, resuscitation sets, beds, mattresses, patient chairs, and shelves for storing medications.

She noted that proper storage was crucial, as current practices involve placing supplies on the floor.

She assured Mr. Kpotosu that the donated equipment would be well-maintained and used for its intended purpose.

“We will ensure this machine is properly maintained and used strictly for its purpose, to serve the community effectively,” she said.

In response, Mr. Kpotosu acknowledged the facility’s additional needs and promised to address them.

“I have taken note of all the requests, and I will work around it to ensure these needs are met. Your dedication motivates me to do more,” he assured.

The donation is part of Mr. Kpotosu’s broader vision to enhance healthcare delivery in Ho Central. His gesture has been lauded by the staff of the CHPS compound and the community, marking a positive start to his tenure as the MP-elect.
