The support is expected to enhance the school’s preparations for the upcoming Southern Zone SHS Inter-Schools Sports Festival, which will bring together senior high schools from the Keta and Anloga Districts. Mr. Sefe explained that the initiative forms part of his broader vision to promote sports development and empower young people to excel both academically and athletically.

“This support is part of my commitment to promoting sports development and empowering our young talents to excel both on and off the field,” he stated.

He urged school authorities and athletes to remain focused, disciplined, and united as they prepare for the contest, expressing confidence in their ability to perform creditably.

The festival is scheduled to take place from February 28 to March 5, 2026, with events to be hosted at Anlo Senior High School and Zion College.

In a related development, the MP extended support to the Muslim community in the Anloga District with a donation to assist them during the holy month of Ramadan, a period characterised by fasting, prayer, self-discipline, and charity.
