The project, aimed at strengthening early childhood education in the municipality, was first handed over by the contractor to the Assembly before its formal presentation to school authorities and residents.

The modern facility is expected to provide a safer and more conducive environment for teaching and learning, while improving educational outcomes for children in the community.

Addressing the gathering during the handing-over ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive, Faustina Abulu, urged the community and school management to take ownership of the facility by ensuring proper maintenance and effective use of the infrastructure.

She stressed that preserving the facility would guarantee long-term benefits for future generations and contribute significantly to improving quality education delivery in the municipality.

Residents and community members expressed appreciation to the Municipal Assembly for the intervention, describing the project as a major step toward addressing infrastructure challenges in the education sector.

The completion and handing over of the facility forms part of the Assembly’s broader commitment to improving access to quality education and creating better learning conditions for children across the municipality.
