Dr. Bin-Salih on his part, acknowledged the sacrifices and hard work of his predecessor towards the maintenance of peace in the Region.
“I thanked you for the good job you did in the Upper East Region. When the region was in turmoil as a result of conflicts, you have been able to calm the tide through your sterling leadership qualities,” he said.
He called for cooperation from all Heads of Departments in the Region to move the development agenda of the Region forward, saying “I ask for your unalloyed support so we place the Upper East Region where it truly belongs.”
