A recent vulnerability analysis has highlighted key groups at risk, including the youth, orphans, victims of child abuse, persons with disabilities, the aged, and people living in disaster-prone areas. Others identified include peasant farmers, women, children, and persons living with HIV/AIDS.

According to the Assembly, understanding the location and nature of these vulnerabilities is critical to designing targeted policies and programmes that promote inclusion and participation in development.

Officials say the Municipality remains committed to improving the wellbeing of these groups through a range of interventions aimed at reducing hardship and enhancing access to essential services.

The move is expected to strengthen social protection systems and ensure that no group is left behind in the development agenda of the Kwahu West Municipality.

Stakeholders believe that with effective implementation, these interventions will help bridge inequality gaps and create opportunities for all residents to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the Municipality.
