The workshop, organized by the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, in collaboration with ICLASS and sponsored by Nero Prime, has brought together over 2,200 teachers across the district. The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen education delivery through continuous professional development.

Held under the theme “Teacher Power: Transforming Classrooms in Awutu Senya District,” the training focuses on empowering educators with innovative teaching approaches, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, fostering safe and inclusive learning environments, and enhancing teachers’ roles as facilitators of knowledge.

Participants are being taken through practical sessions on AI tools, exploring their benefits and how they can be effectively used to support teaching without replacing the essential role of teachers in the classroom.

To ensure full participation and comfort, attendees are being provided with meals, transportation, certificates, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points, and fabric.

The initiative underscores a strong commitment by the MP and the District Assembly to improving the quality of education by investing in teachers and equipping them with relevant, future-ready skills.

Teachers participating in the workshop have expressed excitement and appreciation for the program, describing it as timely and impactful. Many have commended Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui for her dedication to advancing education across the district.

The KEEP initiative is expected to significantly enhance classroom delivery and ultimately improve learning outcomes for students in the Awutu Senya District.
