MCE Inspects Six-Unit Classroom Project at Brakwa Presby School

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa, Hon. Olivia Bentil, has inspected the ongoing construction of a modern six-unit classroom block at Brakwa Presby School, describing the project as an important investment in the future of children in the district.

The project, funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), is expected to provide pupils and teachers with a safer, more spacious and conducive environment for teaching and learning when completed.

During the inspection, Hon. Olivia Bentil assessed the progress of work and expressed optimism about the impact the facility would have on education delivery in the area.

She noted that improving educational infrastructure was essential to creating the right conditions for children to learn, develop their talents and achieve better academic outcomes.

The DCE said the Assembly remained committed to supporting interventions that address infrastructure gaps in schools and improve the overall quality of education across the district.

Hon. Bentil expressed her sincere appreciation to Hon. Georgina Nkrumah Aboah for her support and commitment towards initiatives aimed at improving educational infrastructure and creating better learning opportunities for children.

She stressed that sustainable development required collective efforts from government institutions, development partners, educators, communities and other stakeholders.

The completion of the six-unit classroom block is expected to ease pressure on existing classroom facilities at Brakwa Presby School and provide a more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers.

Hon. Olivia Bentil reaffirmed her commitment to working with relevant stakeholders to attract and support more development projects that directly benefit residents.

“Together, we are investing in our children and building a brighter future for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa,” she said.
