Central Tongu Secures 2,000 School Furniture to Transform Learning Conditions
The Central Tongu District Assembly has procured 2,000 pieces of school furniture to address furniture shortages and improve learning conditions in basic schools across the district.

The furniture includes dual desks for primary and junior high school pupils, together with age-appropriate tables and chairs for kindergarten children, ensuring that learners at different levels receive furniture suited to their needs.
The furniture is expected to be distributed to basic schools throughout the district to help create a more comfortable, safe and conducive environment for teaching and learning.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts by the Central Tongu District Assembly to strengthen basic education infrastructure and support improved learning outcomes for children across the district.
