Keta: MTN commissions ultramodern Maternal and Child Health Block
MTN Ghana has fulfilled its promise to the Keta Municipal Hospital by inaugurating a state-of-the-art Maternal and Child Health Block.

This initiative was undertaken as part of their commitment to the community, following a pledge made during their 25th Year anniversary celebration.
The CEO of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh, emphasized that the commissioning of the 60-bed facility reflects the company's dedication to upholding shared values within the communities where they operate.
The Maternal and Child Health Block at the Keta Municipal Hospital boasts of a 40-bed maternity ward, complete with emergency rooms, a first-stage ward, delivery ward, recovery rooms, and a lie-in ward. Moreover, it includes a well-equipped 20-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with incubators and ventilators.
Additionally, the facility features two operating theaters, a 20-bed hostel for mothers, two consulting rooms, and various offices for nurses, reception, and outpatient departments. It is also equipped with a laboratory, dispensary, scrub and sluice room, anesthetic room, and an Intensive Care (IC) Ward. Furthermore, there are amenities such as a restroom for doctors and nurses, a staff eatery, storage and washrooms, a ramp, an electrical and power room, a head of department’s office, gas tanks, waste bins, and utility rooms.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of notable figures including the Awomefia of the Anlo State - Togbui Sri III, the CEO of MTN Ghana - Mr. Selorm Adadevor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Keta Municipal Assembly Emmanuel Gemegah, and other distinguished dignitaries.
