Manufacturing Industry

Five percent (5%) of the Municipal’s workforce is however engaged by the manufacturing industry in the District. The sector is at the rudimentary stage and lacking modern forms of technological innovation. It is characterized by small scale vehicles repairs, scraped works, wood works, handicrafts and the manufacturing of rudimentary/ subsistence farm implements.

The Municipal level stakeholders therefore need to facilitate the process for the quick establishment of some factories to create employment for youth and enhance better prices of farm produce through value addition.
