Security Agencies

Being a border district, the district has a number of security agencies established within it. These include the Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Customs Exercise and Preventive Service and BNI all located in Sampa. There is also the Ghana Police Service with its headquarters at Sampa and stations at Suma-Ahenkro, Goka and Duadaso No.2.

Judicial Services

The district has a District Court located at Sampa the district capital where justice could be sought. There is however, no permanent Magistrate for the efficient operation of the court as it sits once in a week to hear and adjudicate cases pending before the court.
