According to him, steps have been taken to ensure that contractors execute projects on schedule, including the provision of advance payments to enable them mobilise to project sites.
Mr Ayamweogo made the statement during a mini durbar held to commission several development projects across the Bawku West District in the Upper East Region.
Among the projects commissioned were a maternity block at Gbantongo, an OPD block at Sapeliga, three-unit classroom blocks at Timonde, Adonsi and Zabzoaga, as well as 30 boreholes across the district.
Other completed projects include a health centre at Toende, 10 lockable stores at the Sapeliga Market, rehabilitation of the District Coordinator's residence, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture office in Zebilla and the DCE's residence.
The DCE commended beneficiary communities for their support and urged contractors to prioritise quality and ensure that ongoing projects are completed within schedule.
During a tour of the Community Day Senior High School at Sapeliga, Mr Ayamweogo disclosed that documentation for additional infrastructure, including teachers' quarters and dormitories, had been submitted for approval.
He also assured residents that the school would be opened for academic activities during the current term.
The Member of Parliament for Zebilla, Ebenezer Ndebilla Alumire, urged beneficiary communities to take ownership of the completed projects to ensure their sustainability. He also pledged to continue advocating for additional development projects for the area.
