Kwahu East DCE Distributes 1,000 Mono Desks to Schools
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Kwahu East District, Mr. Samuel Asamoah, has distributed 1,000 mono desks to basic and secondary schools across the district as part of efforts to improve teaching and learning and create a more conducive learning environment for students.

The distribution forms part of the Assembly's commitment to addressing the furniture needs of schools and enhancing access to quality education throughout the district.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Hon. Samuel Asamoah expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama, the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Awatey, and the staff of the District Assembly for their unwavering support in making the initiative possible.
He reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to investing in educational infrastructure and resources to ensure that every learner has access to a comfortable and conducive environment for academic excellence.
The District Director of Education, Mr. George Kwame Somuah, commended the DCE for his dedication to improving education in the district, describing the intervention as timely and beneficial to schools facing furniture shortages.
Also speaking at the event, the Headmistress of Nkwatia Presbyterian Senior High School, Mrs. Gloria Baafi, expressed appreciation to the Government and the District Chief Executive for their continued investment in the education sector. She noted that the additional furniture would significantly improve classroom conditions and support effective teaching and learning.
The distribution of the desks highlights the Kwahu East District Assembly's commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and promoting quality education for all learners in the district.
