CEO of Approachers Group of Companies donates 3 pick-ups to Bibiani and Sefwi Wiawso Police Division

The effort of Ghana Police to provide security received a boost when a philanthropist, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng, the CEO of Approachers Group of Companies donated 3 Pick-Up vehicles to two police divisions; Bibiani and Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region.

The donation is the largest single donation by individual in the region to the police.

Mr. Obeng while presenting the vehicles, said, the vehicles are part of his commitment to boost the security architecture of the new region.

The former Managing Director of Bulk Oil Storage and Transport (BOST), further explained that, his outfits will continue to provide logistic to support the police to enhance their operations, thereby quarantining the security of lives and prosperities of citizens in the newly created region.

The chairman of the occasion, Col. Rtd. Aduhene, thanked him and appealed to the police to maintain the vehicles and use it as it for the intended purpose.



Nananom from various preponderance, also thanked the philanthropist and advice the police to properly use the vehicles to attend to the citizens when the need arises.

The Divisional Commander of police for Bibiani, Chief Superintendent Osei Bonsu on behalf of the Inspector- General of police, thanked Mr. Obeng Boateng and stated the benefactor was not just interested in making profits alone but for socio economic development of the newly created region and the country as a whole.

In his remarks, the commander said, the vehicles would help the police in realization and fulfillment of its constitutional mandate of protection of lives and property.

Meanwhile, few months ago Mr. Obeng donated a brand new pick-up to the western north secretariat during the western north referendum campaign.
