Some of the residents praised the MP’s hands-on approach to governance, describing him as a leader who was deeply connected to the needs of his people.
Nana Kofi, a resident said the MP’s commitment to serving his constituents highlighted his potential of grassroots leadership in addressing the immediate needs of citizens while fostering trust and unity in the community.
“Honourable Kobby is doing an incredible job, but it might be helpful to establish a formal office or community engagement centre to handle these interactions more efficiently,” he suggested.
Maame Adjoa, another resident and a trader, said: “He is always available to listen to us, no matter how big or small our problems are, and we are grateful to have someone who genuinely cares about our welfare.”
Auntie Konadu, another trader, said the MP’s efforts had not gone unnoticed, and called on other leaders to emulate his approach to accessibility and responsiveness.
Reacting to the residents’ commendations, Mr. Darko-Mensah expressed his commitment to serving his constituents saying, “It is my responsibility to be accessible to the people who elected me.
He said the concerns of the people were his priority and pledged his continuous commitment to do everything he could to support them.
