He said we should be deliberate in our actions and utterances in order to enhance the peace and stability the country has enjoyed over the years; one that makes Ghana the beacon of hope for the sub-region and Africa.

He asserts that Ghana has had previous peaceful transitions with previous successive governments under the fourth Republican constitution, and it is time to show the way once again that we are capable of anchoring the feat we have choked in upholding the tenets of democracy in Africa.

According to him, it is important to rally together in prayers for the political actors especially those who would be voted for, thus MPs and presidential aspirants, that whatever campaign they are pursuing would be one that is tailored towards the growth and development of the country. And more importantly, the leaders that we would eventually elect would be people after His own heart.

In an interview after his Good Friday church service at the premises of the church, on Friday, March 29, 2024, he urged Ghanaians to look out for people who would seek to push manifesto and agenda that would enhance the growth and development of Ghana.

Again, “we should all be involved and not show apathy, maybe because we feel disappointed one way or the other by whatever might have gone on in the past or currently. We should all rally and pray towards the elections right from now till we go to the polls”.

The law lecturer at the University of Ghana further noted that as the Electoral Commission (EC) embarks on giving opportunity to Ghanaians who have not yet registered to do so, only eligible individuals should avail themselves to take advantage of the exercise.

He cautioned that every activity leading to the elections in December should be done without acrimony; adding that whatever we do should be to the glory of God.

“It’s God who install leaders, and would do it through our activities at the polls. May the Lord bless us, May God guide us Ghanaians to select people who would lead us.”
